World Class Dragon Boating
Formed in 2017, we have been paddling miles around the Minocqua Chain, a boat of 20 women synchronizing together, working in unison to propel a 40’ Dragon boat.
You may have spotted us from your boat, or while driving on 51 during our tri-weekly practices. We’re already prepping to compete in the 2023 US Nationals to defend our Gold Metal in the 200 M event. Our club represents a small town, but we have big goals!
The Island City Dragonboat Club (ICDB) is just beginning to develop its impact!
Team membership has outgrown single-boat training, and we have recently invested in our very own boat. With this boat purchase, we will be able to continue to develop our powerful women’s team as well as expand our community impact by supporting its growing Youth Team and even starting a new Co-Ed team in the 2023 season -
