What began with a dedicated group of women has grown into a club of over 50 participants, including men and youth athletes.
With a home base in Minocqua, Wisconsin, ICDB strives to create a positive, supportive, environment where every paddler can push their limits, grow stronger, and experience the rush of this fast, fun, water sport.

The growing sport of dragon boat racing has found a vibrant home in the Northwoods of Wisconsin!
ICDB has three teams: Women's, Mixed (men and women), and U18 (youth ages 12 through 18).
Whether you're new to the sport or chasing your next medal, there's a seat in the boat for you.

Nestled in the heart of Wisconsin’s Northwoods, Island City Dragon Boat Club was founded with a shared passion for paddling, community, and the great outdoors.
What started as a group of adventurous individuals seeking a new challenge on the water quickly grew into a spirited, competitive team driven by dedication and camaraderie.
Competition and Camaraderie!
We practice regularly on the scenic waters of Minocqua Lake, refining our technique and building the endurance and teamwork needed to compete.
Each season, we proudly represent Island City at dragon boat races, embracing the thrill of competition and the camaraderie it inspires.
Beyond the races, our mission is to promote fitness, teamwork, and a love for the water while giving back to our community.
